# Hex Color Picker vs CUN

The clearest difference is rating: CUN at 5.0 against Hex Color Picker's 3.8. Hex Color Picker's advantage is ratings volume (44 vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hex Color Picker sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and CUN sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CUN holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hex Color Picker has 44 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Hex Color Picker ships an update every 10 days, CUN every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
