# NoteSnap vs ChatCoin

The clearest difference is monetization model: NoteSnap at freemium against ChatCoin's subscription. NoteSnap also leads on review sentiment (47% vs 20%) and ratings volume (21K vs 1.9K). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NoteSnap sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days and ChatCoin sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $39.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for NoteSnap against 4.6 for ChatCoin. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NoteSnap has 21K ratings behind it against 1.9K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 47% of NoteSnap's written reviews are positive against 20% of ChatCoin's.

NoteSnap ships an update every 2 weeks, ChatCoin every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
