# Brain Dump vs Daycell

The clearest difference is update cadence: Brain Dump at weekly against Daycell's monthly. Daycell's advantage is iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Brain Dump sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Daycell sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Brain Dump ships an update weekly, Daycell monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
