# Brain Dump vs MindMapFlow

The clearest difference is update cadence: MindMapFlow at every 2 days against Brain Dump's weekly. Brain Dump's advantage is iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Brain Dump sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and MindMapFlow sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Brain Dump ships an update weekly, MindMapFlow every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
