# Solid Diary vs RenovMate

The clearest difference is ads: Solid Diary at none against RenovMate's shown. Solid Diary also leads on ratings volume (26 vs 1). RenovMate's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Solid Diary sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and RenovMate sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Solid Diary against 5.0 for RenovMate. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Solid Diary has 26 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
