# Microsoft Designer vs NCD

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: NCD at none against Microsoft Designer's 6. NCD also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.5) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). Microsoft Designer's advantage is ratings volume (557 vs 1) and chart position (#172 vs unranked). On price there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Microsoft Designer sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. NCD asks for nothing beyond the download.

NCD holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Microsoft Designer has 557 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
