# Praise vs Athon

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Praise at none against Athon's 7. Praise also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.6). Athon's advantage is update cadence (every 6 days vs every 7 months) and ratings volume (742 vs 3). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Athon sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Praise asks for nothing beyond the download.

Athon holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Athon has 742 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Praise ships an update every 7 months, Athon every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
