# Third Grade Learning Games vs Monsters vs Fractions

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Monsters vs Fractions at none against Third Grade Learning Games's 7. Third Grade Learning Games's advantage is ratings volume (21K vs 9) and update cadence (every 3 months vs every 11 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Third Grade Learning Games sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Monsters vs Fractions asks for nothing beyond the download.

Third Grade Learning Games holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Third Grade Learning Games has 21K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 51% of Third Grade Learning Games's written reviews are positive against 55% of Monsters vs Fractions's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Third Grade Learning Games ships an update every 3 months, Monsters vs Fractions every 11 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
