# PhilSocial vs AOTP

The clearest difference is ads: PhilSocial at none against AOTP's shown. PhilSocial also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 months) and ratings volume (42 vs 2). AOTP's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.4). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for PhilSocial against 5.0 for AOTP. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PhilSocial has 42 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
