# Finlayson vs EmberNote

The clearest difference is rating: EmberNote at 5.0 against Finlayson's 4.3. EmberNote also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 67%). Finlayson's advantage is ratings volume (7 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Finlayson sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and EmberNote sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
