# The Soft App vs SoloCircle

The clearest difference is ads: SoloCircle at none against The Soft App's shown. SoloCircle also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.5) and iOS requirement (16.4 vs 26.0). The Soft App's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (71 vs 3). On price, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. The Soft App sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.00 per month and SoloCircle sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SoloCircle holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: The Soft App has 71 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

The Soft App ships an update every 9 days, SoloCircle every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
