# BComunidad vs Ping Chat

The clearest difference is rating: Ping Chat at 4.7 against BComunidad's 1.0. Ping Chat also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (7 vs 1). BComunidad's advantage is monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Ping Chat holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ping Chat has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
