# VRChat vs Lil Swimmer

The clearest difference is rating: Lil Swimmer at 5.0 against VRChat's 4.4. VRChat's advantage is ratings volume (3.3K vs 2) and chart position (#89 vs unranked). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VRChat sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Lil Swimmer sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Lil Swimmer holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VRChat has 3.3K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
