# Transmission Hub vs BitManager

The clearest difference is monetization model: BitManager at free against Transmission Hub's free with in-app purchases. Transmission Hub's advantage is ratings volume (19 vs 3) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Transmission Hub sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and BitManager sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Transmission Hub holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Transmission Hub has 19 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Transmission Hub ships an update monthly, BitManager fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
