# Privada VPN vs Welcome VPN

The clearest difference is rating: Welcome VPN at 5.0 against Privada VPN's 1.0. Welcome VPN also leads on ratings volume (20 vs 2). Privada VPN's advantage is device support (4 vs 2) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Welcome VPN holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Welcome VPN has 20 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
