# BYLT Basics vs The Ranches Golf

The clearest difference is ratings volume: BYLT Basics at 8.5K against The Ranches Golf's 35. BYLT Basics also leads on rating (4.9 vs 4.7). The Ranches Golf's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 weeks) and iOS requirement (16.4 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

BYLT Basics holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BYLT Basics has 8.5K ratings behind it against 35, so its average is the more settled of the two.
