# MathSnap vs FlashHomework

The clearest difference is rating: MathSnap at 4.5 against FlashHomework's 4.2. MathSnap also leads on ratings volume (1.4K vs 16) and review sentiment (70% vs 50%). FlashHomework's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 3 weeks) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MathSnap sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and FlashHomework sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MathSnap holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MathSnap has 1.4K ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 70% of MathSnap's written reviews are positive against 50% of FlashHomework's.

MathSnap ships an update every 3 weeks, FlashHomework every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
