# FoodExchange vs Looli

The clearest difference is rating: Looli at 4.7 against FoodExchange's 1.0. Looli also leads on ratings volume (126 vs 1). FoodExchange's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 10) and update cadence (every 2 days vs fortnightly). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Looli sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $7.00 per month. FoodExchange asks for nothing beyond the download.

Looli holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Looli has 126 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

FoodExchange ships an update every 2 days, Looli fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
