# Heia vs e

The clearest difference is rating: Heia at 4.0 against e's 3.5. e's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 20 months) and ratings volume (2.5K vs 3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Heia holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: e has 2.5K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Heia ships an update every 20 months, e every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
