# OutDesi vs Bracketology

The clearest difference is rating: OutDesi at 5.0 against Bracketology's 4.0. OutDesi also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 4) and ads (none vs shown). Bracketology's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 11 months) and ratings volume (182 vs 2). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bracketology sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per month. OutDesi asks for nothing beyond the download.

OutDesi holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bracketology has 182 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

OutDesi ships an update every 11 months, Bracketology fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
