# Temporal War vs Fortalis

The clearest difference is price: Fortalis at Free against Temporal War's $2.99. Fortalis also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 months) and review sentiment (100% vs 71%). Temporal War's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 4) and rating (4.3 vs 4.0). On ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Fortalis is free to download; Temporal War costs $2.99 up front. Fortalis sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Temporal War asks for nothing beyond the download.

Temporal War holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Temporal War has 19 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 71% of Temporal War's written reviews are positive against 100% of Fortalis's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Temporal War ships an update every 6 months, Fortalis fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
