# EG Leaders vs Refiners Fire

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: EG Leaders at none against Refiners Fire's 3. EG Leaders also leads on review sentiment (50% vs 20%). Refiners Fire's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs monthly) and ratings volume (392 vs 5). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Refiners Fire sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. EG Leaders asks for nothing beyond the download.

Refiners Fire holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Refiners Fire has 392 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of EG Leaders's written reviews are positive against 20% of Refiners Fire's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

EG Leaders ships an update monthly, Refiners Fire every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
