# Scribd vs Clear Study

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Clear Study at 100% against Scribd's 14%. Clear Study also leads on rating (5.0 vs 2.8) and in-app purchases (none vs 14). Scribd's advantage is ratings volume (275 vs 1) and chart position (#128 vs unranked). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Scribd sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Clear Study asks for nothing beyond the download.

Clear Study holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Scribd has 275 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 14% of Scribd's written reviews are positive against 100% of Clear Study's.
