# FTP Client vs MobiScan

FTP Client and MobiScan both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of MobiScan's written reviews are positive against 74% of FTP Client's. FTP Client's advantage is update cadence (every 8 days vs monthly). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FTP Client sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per month and MobiScan sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for FTP Client against 4.6 for MobiScan. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 37 and 36 respectively. Written reviews are what separate them: 74% of FTP Client's written reviews are positive against 100% of MobiScan's.

FTP Client ships an update every 8 days, MobiScan monthly. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
