# PSD vs WE BALL

The clearest difference is ads: PSD at none against WE BALL's shown. PSD also leads on ratings volume (13K vs 849). WE BALL's advantage is monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for PSD against 4.9 for WE BALL. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PSD has 13K ratings behind it against 849, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 90% of PSD's written reviews are positive against 96% of WE BALL's.

PSD ships an update every 4 weeks, WE BALL every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
