# Spam Text Blocker vs Spam Killer

The clearest difference is update cadence: Spam Killer at every 2 days against Spam Text Blocker's every 6 weeks. Spam Text Blocker's advantage is ratings volume (131 vs 16). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Spam Text Blocker sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Spam Killer sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
