# starmatch vs KeyProtector

starmatch and KeyProtector both sit at 4.3 stars, but that hides the real split: 79% of KeyProtector's written reviews are positive against 33% of starmatch's. KeyProtector also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). starmatch's advantage is ratings volume (3.5K vs 528). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. starmatch sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and KeyProtector sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.3 for starmatch against 4.4 for KeyProtector. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: starmatch has 3.5K ratings behind it against 528, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 33% of starmatch's written reviews are positive against 79% of KeyProtector's.
