# Batato Timer vs TimeKit

The clearest difference is update cadence: Batato Timer at every 9 days against TimeKit's monthly. Batato Timer also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Batato Timer sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and TimeKit sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Batato Timer ships an update every 9 days, TimeKit monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
