# On This Date vs PastFinder

The clearest difference is ads: PastFinder at none against On This Date's shown. PastFinder also leads on iOS requirement (16.4 vs 26.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. On This Date sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and PastFinder sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
