# Clean vs Elite PDF

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Clean at none against Elite PDF's 3. Clean also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.0). Elite PDF's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Elite PDF sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Clean asks for nothing beyond the download.

Clean ships an update every 3 weeks, Elite PDF weekly. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
