# Exocus vs FocusFlight

The clearest difference is monetization model: Exocus at free with in-app purchases against FocusFlight's subscription. Exocus also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). FocusFlight's advantage is ratings volume (9.4K vs 131) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Exocus sells 7 one-off in-app purchases and FocusFlight sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Exocus against 4.9 for FocusFlight. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FocusFlight has 9.4K ratings behind it against 131, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 96% of Exocus's written reviews are positive against 89% of FocusFlight's.

Exocus ships an update every 3 weeks, FocusFlight every 5 days. Both last shipped on October 1, 2026.
