# Exocus vs PuppyFocus

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Exocus at 151 against PuppyFocus's 3. Exocus also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Exocus sells 7 one-off in-app purchases and PuppyFocus sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Exocus against 5.0 for PuppyFocus. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Exocus has 151 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 96% of Exocus's written reviews are positive against 100% of PuppyFocus's.

Exocus ships an update every 3 weeks, PuppyFocus fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
