# Exocus vs Meowchi

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Exocus at 145 against Meowchi's 5. Exocus also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Meowchi's advantage is update cadence (every 6 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Exocus sells 7 one-off in-app purchases and Meowchi sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Exocus against 5.0 for Meowchi. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Exocus has 145 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Exocus ships an update every 3 weeks, Meowchi every 6 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
