# Exocus vs Jot

The clearest difference is update cadence: Exocus at every 3 weeks against Jot's every 2 months. Exocus also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Exocus sells 7 one-off in-app purchases and Jot sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Exocus ships an update every 3 weeks, Jot every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
