# BBrain vs Bro

The clearest difference is rating: Bro at 3.7 against BBrain's 3.0. Bro also leads on ratings volume (1.1K vs 27). BBrain's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and review sentiment (50% vs 37%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BBrain sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Bro sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Bro holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bro has 1.1K ratings behind it against 27, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of BBrain's written reviews are positive against 37% of Bro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

BBrain ships an update every 3 days, Bro every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
