# VPN ForceField vs Auth Authenticator

The clearest difference is ratings volume: VPN ForceField at 429 against Auth Authenticator's 28. VPN ForceField also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 weeks). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VPN ForceField sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Auth Authenticator sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for VPN ForceField against 4.9 for Auth Authenticator. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VPN ForceField has 429 ratings behind it against 28, so its average is the more settled of the two.
