# GACTE vs YOSS

The clearest difference is update cadence: YOSS at every 2 months against GACTE's every 12 months. GACTE's advantage is ratings volume (76 vs 1) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

YOSS holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GACTE has 76 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

GACTE ships an update every 12 months, YOSS every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
