# Fabric vs Ledger

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Ledger at 100% against Fabric's 62%. Ledger also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs monthly). Fabric's advantage is ratings volume (254 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fabric sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Ledger sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ledger holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fabric has 254 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 62% of Fabric's written reviews are positive against 100% of Ledger's.

Fabric ships an update monthly, Ledger every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
