# KidsGuard Pro vs QR

The clearest difference is review sentiment: QR at 100% against KidsGuard Pro's 4%. QR also leads on rating (5.0 vs 3.8) and ads (none vs shown). KidsGuard Pro's advantage is ratings volume (198 vs 1). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. KidsGuard Pro sells 19 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and QR sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

QR holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: KidsGuard Pro has 198 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 4% of KidsGuard Pro's written reviews are positive against 100% of QR's.

KidsGuard Pro ships an update monthly, QR every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and September 23, 2026 respectively.
