# Project vs Brontide

The clearest difference is update cadence: Brontide at every 2 days against Project's every 2 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Project sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.49 per month and Brontide sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Project ships an update every 2 months, Brontide every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
