# Project vs BabalaVPN

The clearest difference is update cadence: BabalaVPN at every 9 days against Project's every 2 months. Project's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Project sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.49 per month and BabalaVPN sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Project ships an update every 2 months, BabalaVPN every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
