# Project vs NaroVPN

The clearest difference is update cadence: NaroVPN at fortnightly against Project's every 2 months. Project's advantage is iOS requirement (11.0 vs 13.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Project sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.49 per month and NaroVPN sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Project ships an update every 2 months, NaroVPN fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
