# Life log vs Aevum

The clearest difference is ads: Aevum at none against Life log's shown. Life log's advantage is iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Life log sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month and Aevum sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Life log ships an update monthly, Aevum fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
