# LetterMe vs passNote

The clearest difference is update cadence: passNote at every 5 days against LetterMe's every 4 weeks. LetterMe's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LetterMe sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and passNote sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

LetterMe ships an update every 4 weeks, passNote every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
