# Splashin vs Lackin

The clearest difference is ads: Splashin at none against Lackin's shown. Splashin also leads on ratings volume (257K vs 24) and chart position (#104 vs unranked). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Splashin sells 16 in-app purchases, starting at $1.00 per 7 days and Lackin sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Splashin against 4.8 for Lackin. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Splashin has 257K ratings behind it against 24, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 98% of Splashin's written reviews are positive against 100% of Lackin's.
