# Life Clock vs Bro

The clearest difference is rating: Bro at 3.7 against Life Clock's 3.0. Bro also leads on ratings volume (1.1K vs 2) and update cadence (every 2 days vs fortnightly). Life Clock's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and review sentiment (50% vs 37%). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Life Clock sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Bro sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Bro holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bro has 1.1K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Life Clock's written reviews are positive against 37% of Bro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Life Clock ships an update fortnightly, Bro every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
