# PROBE PLUS vs BFOUR+

The clearest difference is rating: BFOUR+ at 3.0 against PROBE PLUS's 1.5. BFOUR+ also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). PROBE PLUS's advantage is ratings volume (113 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

BFOUR+ holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 1.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PROBE PLUS has 113 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 7% of PROBE PLUS's written reviews are positive against 0% of BFOUR+'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

PROBE PLUS ships an update every 2 months, BFOUR+ every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
