# 3 vs Hello Doorbell

The clearest difference is rating: 3 at 3.4 against Hello Doorbell's 2.8. 3 also leads on review sentiment (59% vs 25%) and ratings volume (69 vs 13). Hello Doorbell's advantage is update cadence (every 8 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 3 sells 15 one-off in-app purchases and Hello Doorbell sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

3 holds the better App Store score, 3.4 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 3 has 69 ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two.
