# Secure VPN ・ Private Internet vs Ethical Secure VPN

The clearest difference is rating: Secure VPN ・ Private Internet at 3.0 against Ethical Secure VPN's 2.0. Secure VPN ・ Private Internet also leads on ratings volume (30 vs 10) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Ethical Secure VPN's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 10 days). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Secure VPN ・ Private Internet sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $8.99 per 7 days and Ethical Secure VPN sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Secure VPN ・ Private Internet holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 2.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 30 and 10 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 92% of Secure VPN ・ Private Internet's written reviews are positive against 96% of Ethical Secure VPN's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Secure VPN ・ Private Internet ships an update every 10 days, Ethical Secure VPN every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
