# Ethical Secure VPN vs CyberProxy

The clearest difference is rating: CyberProxy at 5.0 against Ethical Secure VPN's 2.0. CyberProxy also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Ethical Secure VPN's advantage is ratings volume (10 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ethical Secure VPN sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and CyberProxy sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CyberProxy holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ethical Secure VPN has 10 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Ethical Secure VPN ships an update every 4 days, CyberProxy every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
